David B. Scruggs

David serves as Controller for SilverLeaf Financial. He brings to the SilverLeaf team a background of cost accounting, financial reporting, and investor relations.

David is responsible for financial management reporting, as well as, adherence to internal controls, risk management, in-house accounting, budgeting, investor relations, and financial planning and analysis.

 

EXPERIENCE

- Worked in real estate development. Responsible for budgeting, reconciling accounts payable/receivable, auditing.

- Accounting involving inter-company transactions between individual subsidiaries and parent company.

- Managed general ledger and bookkeeping journal entries for parent company and 20 + subsidiaries
