President

 

Mark is a seasoned professional, providing stability, wisdom, and expertise to the SilverLeaf Financial management team.

He brings over 25 years of institutional real estate based portfolio and project management experience including:

- Portfolio and project level market and economic analysis.

- Preparation of equity preservation and value enhancement strategies.

- Contract negotiations for acquisition, development and dispositions.

- Project planning, entitlement and construction management.

- Financial analysis and strategic planning.

Mark is responsible for leading SilverLeaf's strategy to acquire, manage and dispose of large pools of distress debt using the FDIC structured sale platform and assist in providing strategic planning for Silverleaf's whole loan portfolio.

 

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

- Negotiated and closed the acquisition of a $701 MM portfolio of distressed commercial loans from the FDIC.

- Managed a team of professionals to complete a comprehensive strategic plan for a portfolio of land assets in excess of 25,000 acres located in Utah, Arizona, California, Oregon, Idaho and Florida.

- Managed a team of professionals to complete the envisioning, planning, zoning and development agreements with the City of Kansas City for the development of a 2,500 acre master-planned community known as Shoal Creek Valley.

- Negotiated the sale of five projects totaling 5,400 acres located in California and Florida to national master-planned community development companies.

- Managed a $500 MM portfolio of diverse real estate assets.

Mark and his wife Jana, are the parents of 5 children and 3 grandchildren.
They reside in Fruit Heights, Utah.
